An ideal size for a typical dining room with an 8-foot to 9-foot ceiling, this large, 20-Inch-diameter ceiling medallion provides an added decorative element to complement existing molding, woodwork, or other architectural details, and it can also be used to cover the hole cut for an electrical box. Resembling an original plaster medallion, this lightweight polyurethane medallion can be installed finished or unfinished--leave it white or paint it with any latex or oil-based paint to create a look to match your decor. With a four-Inch center opening, the Soleil medallion is easily installed at the same time as a lighting fixture or ceiling fan, and it comes complete with all necessary mounting hardware. Simply apply adhesive and screw or nail to any surface--the polyurethane won't warp, split, or splinter. If you choose, the medallion can also easily be caulked or spackled to hide installation hardware.
